Facilities
Bridport Masonic Hall is an affordable choice for your function or event and once inside the main hall you will find a room which matches most local hotels for space and suitability. We are flexible and open for business. Our hall is light and practical for all kinds of activities both during the day and on evenings.
We do not have our own car park however there is a local pay and display less than 100m up the road
Possible uses; Do you want to hold a seminar? A sales promotion? An antiques fair? Theatre rehearsal? Please talk to us. Maybe you want to hold a class of education? A speed awareness course? A health and safety or first aid course? We have the tools to help.
Catering Provision
For every event there are many options for the provision of food available, we have a full commercial kitchen with two range ovens and a large prep area. If you need a caterer we can advise you of several local companies we use.
Fully Licensed Bar
The main hall has a fully licensed and stocked bar which can also be hired for your event complete with staff
We are located in West Dorset on the edge of Bridport Town centre. Just off the A35 on East Street. The town of Bridport is half way between Dorchester and Lyme Regis
At Bridport Masonic Hall there are four rooms available for hire either separately or as a whole.
Room 1. The Masters Room
Our smallest meeting room offers seating for up to 8 people around a board room table. Suitable for intimate meetings or events
Room 2. The Museum
Our museum can be hired as a meeting room, event space or dining room. Seating for up to 14 people around the large boardroom table or up to 30 as a lecture room
Room 3. The Temple - members only
The Temple is normally for masonic events only, however, under certain circumstances it might be made available as part of a whole venue hire.
Room 4. The Lodge
The Lodge is our main room for hire with lots of seating arrangements according to use. It is linked with the kitchen and you have the option to hire the bar as well.
This room can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people for dining and for exhibitions, seminars, education, community activities and parties. There is a wooden dance floor in the centre of the room measuring 25x10ft and options to hang decorations from the ceiling from our fixed wires to make your event personal.
